Don’t settle from God’s best for you

Wander around with needs rumbling in your core

Thirsting & hungering for something more

Maybe a relationship, a trip, a career

But you’re stuck looking in the rearview mirror

Connected to things in your past

Mourning seasons and things that were never meant to last

He says See that I am doing a new thing

You were called out of darkness and made light

You try and fill the God-sized hole with things that just aren’t right

Distracted by opportunities that are good, but not His best

Son, Daughter, come in His presence and just rest

Take delight in Him and be patient

His timing and perspective are perfect, He see things you don’t

If He said He will, stop believing the lies saying He won’t

Doubt & fear turning your head left and right

Striving, searching, looking everywhere but at Him

Instead of just being

Instead of just seeing

INSTEAD

Instead of experiencing the fullness of God
